1. This Regulation applies to the keeping of animals in captivity, the capture of animals for the purpose of keeping them in captivity and, where applicable, the disposal of animals.
Sections 3 and 4 do not apply to wild animals kept in captivity for breeding purposes with a view to dealing in fur or in meat or other food products if the animal is governed by the Animal Welfare and Safety Act (chapter B-3.1).
